Dental Curing Light
At Academy Dental Group, we use a dental curing light in teeth-whitening procedures to enhance the effect of bleaching agents.
The light used falls under the visible blue light spectrum, and is delivered over a range of wavelengths.
Dental Impressions
Digital dental impressions use optical scanning devices to create virtual, computer-generated replicas of the hard and soft tissues of the patients' mouth.
They capture extremely accurate impression data in a matter of minutes, without the need for traditional impression materials, which can be messy.
Digital X-rays
Digital X-ray imaging uses digital X-ray sensors instead of the traditional photographic X-ray film. Digital X-rays produce extremely detailed computer images of the teeth and gums, as well as other oral structures and conditions.
Panoramic X-Rays
Panoramic dental X-rays are useful because they create a single image of the whole mouth. The images will include the teeth, the upper and lower jaws, their temporomandibular (TMJ) joints, and even the nasal and sinus areas.
The result is a flat representation of the jaw's curved structure, making it easier to analyze each part in relation to the whole.
